  • Length: 4-8 weeks
  • Minimum/Maximum: 6-10 people
  • Many clients do 2 series per week (Tues & Thurs is a popular combo) and some also attend my Group Classes in addition to the series (3+ x per week is an awesome goal)
  • Your group will all start together and progress together, as you become stronger the class sequence becomes more advanced continuing to challenge you.

Payment

Cash or Check made out to Atlanta Hot Yoga for Series held at AHY or Michelle Wade for Series held at TFR. Must bring on or before first day of new series.

Drop-ins

While the intention of the series is to build each week and have the same group there are a few people with schedules that just won’t allow for that commitment, however they are in class each week whenever they can make it and have a consistent practice. For those of you who fall into this category, after the series minimum is met, drop ins are available—contact me for details.

What is the Pilates Series?

The Pilates Series is where an individual Private Lesson and a Group Class meet.

What does it focus on?

The Series will focus on core strength. We will strengthen, lengthen, and tone your abs, hips, back, thighs, glutes, arms, shoulders, and chest. At Atlanta Hot Yoga the room is heated to 95-100 degrees. At Total Fitness Revolution the room is normal temp.

Why is it beneficial?

The series provides the motivation and cost savings of group exercise with the added benefit that comes with a smaller group. The personalized instruction will enable you to deepen your practice. Having the same group each week enables me to challenge you more as the series progresses. You also have the added guilt encouragement of knowing your fellow Pilates series goers are looking for you if you aren’t there.

What if I am new?

ALL levels are welcome. Whether this is your 1st or 100th class, you can always rest when you need to. Pilates is challenging and won’t feel easy no matter how many classes you have taken. I will always offer modifications for different levels.

What if I have to miss one?

You are welcome to attend one of my regularly scheduled group classes at the studio where the Series is being held. Please let me know you will be doing a make up before hand.
