This smoothie turned out really delicious, I’ve made it twice in 2 days now…the yogurt makes it filling enough for breakfast. This one is also kid friendly–you can’t taste the kale at all!
- Plain yogurt: 1/3 cup
- Fruit: total 1.5 cups
- 1/4 c each of: blueberries, pineapple, mango, blackberries and about 1/2 c strawberries
- Veggie: handful kale (or spinach)
- 1/2 c water (or almond milk, fruit juice, coconut water)
- Optional add ins: 1 Tablespoon ea: chia seeds & hemp hearts (could also do flax seed, nut butter- pretty sure if you add a nut butter it would taste like pb&j!)
Most of the fruit I used was frozen so I added the water to thin it out. The mango was fresh – and amazing – as were the blackberries. Let me know if you try it!
